Polling and Research

The Stratics Group specializes in two distinct types of polling and research services for political campaigns and organizations: Live Telephone Agent Surveys and Automated (IVR) Surveys.

1. Using Live Callers - These calls are made by our professional team of survey takers expertly trained in conducting all types of survey research polls.
2. Automated IVR Polling - These polls use Automated IVR Polling to allow survey respondents to respond to a pre-recorded series of questions by touching their telephone key pads to register their answers. This form of surveying can be extremely cost effective and quick to deploy.

Advantages of Automated Surveys:

• Inexpensive
• Able to obtain very large sample sizes (larger sample sizes decrease margin of error and increase confidence levels in statistical results)
• Rapidly deployable
• Respondents hear exact same pre-recorded questions reducing the potential for bias arising from human agents
• Respondents may be more “honest” when dealing with a machine versus Live Telephone Agent

Advantages of Live Telephone Agent Polling:

• Know exactly who is answering the survey
• Trained agents can more effectively interpret and solicit responses.

Methodology

The Stratics Group collects data for its polling and research using both Automated IVR Polling and Live Telephone Agents. Automated Polling questions are digitally recorded and question order, branching options, and other factors are designed to achieve maximum results. Calls are placed to randomly-selected phone numbers through a process that insures appropriate geographic representation. Typically, calls are placed from 5 pm to 9 pm local time during the week. Saturday calls are made from 11 am to 6 pm local time and Sunday calls from 1 pm to 9 pm local time. The Stratics Group only uses highly trained telephone agents for your polling and research. Our agents use custom scripting designed by our in house professionals to get the most accurate results on your behalf.
